This Privacy Policy explains how Kriyacode Technologies LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use AstroPalm (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

A. Information you give us

Account details: email address, display name, and optionally a phone number. If you sign in with Google or Apple, the name and email they share with us.
Birth details: name, date of birth, time of birth (if you know it), and place of birth. We derive map coordinates and the historical time zone from the place of birth.
Profile details: optional fields such as gender, address and preferences.
Other people's birth details: if you request a compatibility reading, the other person's birth details. Only enter them with that person's permission.
Notes and feedback: anything you write in journals, notes, feedback or support requests.
Voice input: if you choose to dictate instead of typing (for example in feedback forms), the recording is transcribed on our own servers and is not kept after transcription. It is not sent to any third party.

B. Your palm photo

Your palm photo is stored on your device, not on our servers. When you ask for a palm reading, the photo is sent securely to our server and on to our AI provider (see Section 4) to identify the lines and mounts. It is not saved in our databases.
The traits read from the photo (for example "heart line: deep") are saved on your device, so later reports can use them without sending the photo again.
Removing the photo in the App, signing out, or deleting your account removes the photo and its traits from your device.
We do not use your palm photo to identify you, and we do not create a biometric template from it.

C. Collected automatically

Device and app data: device model, operating system, app version, time zone and language, used to deliver the App, notifications and support.
Push-notification token, if you allow notifications.
Diagnostics: crash and error reports, used to fix problems.

2. How We Use Information

To calculate your birth chart, dashas, numerology, compatibility and daily forecasts.
To produce palm readings and premium reports, including AI-written explanations of our calculations.
To run your account, subscriptions, notifications and support.
To keep the Services secure, prevent abuse, and fix errors.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information.

3. Sensitive Readings

Readings about marriage, partnership and children are symbolic classical indications (see our Terms of Service). We do not use them to profile you, and we do not share them with anyone except the service providers needed to produce them (Section 4).

4. Service Providers We Share With

We share information only with providers that help us run the Services, and only what they need:

Anthropic processes this data under its commercial terms, which do not permit it to train its models on it. Place-of-birth search and voice transcription run on our own servers and are not sent to third-party services.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Storage, Security and Retention

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Sensitive fields such as phone numbers are encrypted at rest.
Account data, charts and reports are kept until you delete your account.
Palm photos are kept only on your device, as described in Section 1B.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Export your data at any time: Settings → Account & Privacy → Export data.
Delete your account and its data: Settings → Account & Privacy → Delete account.
Correct your details in your profile.
Withdraw permissions (camera, photos, notifications, biometrics) in your device settings.

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have further rights, including access, correction, deletion, objection and portability. Contact us to exercise them.

7. Children

AstroPalm is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. International Transfers

Our servers and providers may be located outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

9. Changes

We will show updates in the App and ask you to accept material changes.
